Royal Enfield has introduced its newest motorcycle, the Guerrilla 450, at an event in Barcelona. This bike, which is built on the Himalayan 450 platform, comes in three variants with prices starting at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 enters a fiercely competitive mid-sized motorcycle market, taking on established models like the Harley-Davidson X440, Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, and Hero Mavrick 440.

The Guerrilla 450 is Royal Enfield’s first venture into the sub-500cc street naked motorcycle category. Officially launched in Barcelona, Spain, the motorcycle is now available for booking and will soon be on display at Royal Enfield dealerships across the country.

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Variants and Pricing

The Guerrilla 450 is equipped with the sturdy Sherpa 450 cc engine, similar to the Himalayan 450. It comes in three versions: Analogue, Dash, and Flash, priced at Rs 2.39 lakh, Rs 2.49 lakh, and Rs 2.54 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Design and Features

Sporting a modern-retro roadster look, the Guerrilla features a distinctive round headlamp, a stylish teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a minimalistic tail section. It is built with a steel tubular frame, 43 mm telescopic front forks with 140 mm travel, and a rear mono-shock setup with 150 mm travel.

The bike offers five color options across its three variants: Analogue (Smoke and Playa Black), Dash (Playa Black and Gold Dip), and Flash (Yellow Ribbon and Brava Blue).

The Guerrilla 450 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with 120/70 section front tires and 160/60 section rear tires, ensuring stable handling. Braking is provided by a 310 mm ventilated disc with a double piston caliper at the front and a 270 mm ventilated disc with a single piston caliper at the rear.

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Dimensions and Technology

The motorcycle’s dimensions are 2090 mm in length, 833 mm in width, and 1125 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1440 mm. It has a weight of 186 kg (including fuel and oil) and features LED headlights, indicators, and taillights. The 4.0-inch round TFT display offers smartphone connectivity, Google Maps navigation, media controls, dual-channel ABS, and a USB type-C port.

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Powertrain

The Guerrilla 450 is powered by a liquid-cooled 452 cc single-cylinder, DOHC engine, producing 40.02 PS at 8000 RPM and 40 NM torque at 5500 RPM. It includes a 6-speed gearbox and a slip and assist clutch for a smooth riding experience.

With its blend of contemporary features and solid performance, Royal Enfield’s new Guerrilla 450 aims to attract riders by building on the success of the Himalayan platform.
